FLAME-RETARDANT POLYESTER-BASED ARTIFICIAL HAIR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006104621
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a fiber for a polyester-based artificial hair, which keeps fiber properties such as heat resistance, strength and elongation, etc., of an ordinary polyester fiber, has excellent flame retardance, setting properties and drip properties and controlled gloss of fiber and an artificial hair using the same.

The flame-retardant polyester-based artificial hair having the above characteristics is formed from a resin composition obtained by melting and kneading 100 pts.wt of (A) a flame-retardant polyester resin that comprises an alkylene terephthalate as a main constituent component, is copolymerized with a monomer component containing a phosphorus element, contains 0.2-2 wt.% of a phosphorus element and has ≥0.7 intrinsic viscosity with 0.2-5 pts.wt of (B) an organic fine particle and/or (C) an inorganic fine particle.
