Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a flame-retardant polyester fiber product having various functions such as high water-repellency, water-absorption, stain proofness and color-development and its production process.
CONSTITUTION: This flame-retardant polyester fiber is produced by forming a polymer film different from the polyester and having a thickness of 20-1,000&angst on the surface of a flame-retarded polyester fiber. The fiber product is produced by subjecting the flame-retarded polyester fiber to electric discharge treatment in a polymerizable monomer atmosphere.
