PURPOSE: To provide the titled compsn. which does not cause any bleeding of a flame retarder toward the surface of a molding, by blending a specified halogenated bisphenol A type copolyphenoxy resin and an inorg. flame-retardant aid with a terephthalate polyester resin.

CONSTITUTION: 3W50pts.wt. high-molecular halogenated bisphenol A type copolyphenoxy resin contg. a unit of formula I (wherein X is Cl, Br) and a unit of formula II in the form of random copolymer or block copolymer, having a halogen content of 10wt% or above and contg. 12 or more repeating bisphenol nucleus units, 0.1W20pts.wt. inorg. flame-retardant aid such as Sb2O3, 0W150pts.wt. reinforcing filler such as glass fiber and optionally 0.1W10pts.wt. epoxy compd. such as bisphenol type epoxy resin and/or carbodiimide compd. are blended with 100pts.wt. terephthalate polyester resin having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.3W 1.5dl/g. The mixture is melt-kneaded at 200W300°C.
