Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire retardant protective woven fabric that has a wound prevention function, has an ignition prevention function to a welding/fusing spark and a penetration prevention function, is light and easy-to-handle, is flexible and is easily set along an uneven surface of a product to be protected and is easily moved, is high in bending properties and less in deterioration by being bent and folded, has durability, and is less in generation of dust by frictional wear, and to provide a fire retardant protective textile product including the same such as a welding/fusing spark preventing sheet and a weld working garment.SOLUTION: The fire retardant protective woven fabric is obtained by using fiber yarns having a fineness of 500-10,000 dtex formed by fire retardant organic filament fibers subjected to a fluid processing and have a critical oxygen index of at least 25 as warp and/or weft. The woven fabric has a basis weight of 200-460 g/mand satisfies predetermined bending properties, bending resistance, and fire retardancy at the same time. The fire retardant protective woven fabric is suitable for a welding/fusing spark preventing sheet, a fire retardant protective working wear, a fire retardant protective apron, a fire retardant protective arm cover, fire retardant protective spats, and the like.SELECTED DRAWING: None
