Abstract:
To provide a flame-retardant resin composition which can form a coating layer exhibiting excellent terminal workability while maintaining mechanical characteristics required for a wiring material, and a wiring material having the flame-retardant resin composition as a coating layer.SOLUTION: There are provided a flame-retardant resin composition that contains 80-150 pts.mass of a metal hydrate with respect to 100 pts.mass of a base resin, in which the base resin contains 5-20 mass% of an acid-modified polyolefin resin and 70-95 mass% of a polyolefin resin (X) other than the acid-modified polyolefin resin, and contains 3-20 mass% of a polypropylene resin having a melting point of 100°C or lower in 100 mass% of the base resin as a part of the polyolefin resin (X): and a wiring material having a flame-retardant resin composition as a coating layer.SELECTED DRAWING: None
