Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the flame-retardant resin composition excellent in fracture strength, moldability, coating properties, chemical resistance and flame retardancy and capable of injection molding without generating a large amount of a gas.

CONSTITUTION: This is a flame-retardant resin composition containing (A) 5 to 88wt.% styrene-based resin synthesized by polymerizing an aromatic vinyl compound or an aromatic vinyl compound and another vinyl monomer copolymerizable with the aromatic vinyl compound in the presence of a rubbery polymer or without using it, (B) 10 to 65wt.% polyamide and/or thermoplastic polyester, (C) 2 to 30wt.% halogenated polyphenylene ether and (D) 0 to 60wt.% inorganic filler.
