To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition capable of giving a molding having excellent flame retardancy, heat stability, and impact resistance in good workability by mixing a halogen-free thermoplastic polycarbonate resin with a rubber-modified graft copolymer, a vinyl copolymer, a polyphosphate/monophosphate mixture, and a flame retardant in a specified ratio.
This composition comprises 40-99 pts.wt. (A) halogen-free thermoplastic polycarbonate, 1-50 pts.wt. (B) graft polymer prepared by grafting 5-95 pts.wt. mixture comprising 50-95 pts.wt. styrene or the like and 50-5 pts.wt. acrylonitrile or the like onto 95-5 pts.wt. styrene/butadiene rubber having a glass transition temperature of -10°C or below, 0-50 pts.wt. (C) vinyl copolymer comprising 50-95 pts.wt. styrene or the like and 50-5 pts.wt. acrylonitrile or the like; 0.5-20 pts.wt., per 100 pts.wt. total of components A, B, and C, a mixture comprising 10-50 wt.% polyphosphate mixture and 90-50 wt.% monophosphate mixture, 5-20 pts.wt. polyfluoroolefin resin, and 0.01-1 pt.wt. flame-retardant metal salt for an aromatic polycarbonate.
