Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform bending with an outer peripheral flange without causing depression, which means an upper surface position of a through-hole falling beyond a specified position, relating to a structural member of a vehicle in which the through hole and an inside flange are formed by pressing with a metal plate, and after that, the outer peripheral flange is bent.SOLUTION: A lower arm 18 in almost L-shape is provided by pressing with a metal plate, with a through hole 40 and an inside flange 40a being trimmed, and is placed on a device body 51 of a processing device 50. In a state in which a through hole 40 is inserted in a boss part 52 to position the lower arm 40, a pressurizing part 55 is moved downward until an end face of an outer peripheral edge of the through hole 40 abuts with an upper surface of a regulation part 54, and an outer peripheral edge which means almost semi-circle portion of the through hole 40 is bent downward, forming an outer peripheral flange 40b.
