Abstract:

PURPOSE: To easily and quickly perform fastening work of a piping flange with high precision even in a narrow working environment.
CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary device 10 is used for fastening piping flanges 14A, 14B put together by means of a bolt 16 and a nut 18. A supporting plate 20, which is opposedly arranged on the flange face on the side to which a bolt shaft 16S is projected via a spacer 26 and can be opened/closed and divided while putting piping in the middle, is arranged. In the supporting plate 20, cylinders 30 are formed correspondingly to the plural bolts 16, and pistons 32 which are inserted into the cylinders 30 and can be slidably moved are arranged. A rod 34 which can be screwed with the bolt shaft 16S is formed in the piston 32, while a supply/exhaust means 44 for hydraulic fluid is connected to the cylinder 30. Plural bolt shafts 16S are pushed up at the same time by the fluid pressure so as to be pulled, and the nuts 18 are rotated to the fastening positions while the predetermined axial force is applied to the bolts 16, and subsequently, an oil pressure is released.
