The flanging device is arranged with a can holding body 11, which holds a bottomed cylindrical can 1 having a shoulder part 7 reducing an opening part and advances/retreats the can along its axial direction, a rotary body 20, which rotates around the axial line, spinners 21, which are arranged apart in plural around the rotary body 20 and rotatable. When the can holding body 11 is advanced, the spinner 21 is inserted into the opening part and abutted on the opening face inner face, flanging is conducted. In this case, a housing, when the can holding body 11 adavances, is arranged with an abutting member 32 to abutt on the shoulder part 7 and to hold the can.
