The flap processing apparatus for turning in flaps on the bottom side of a box body is provided in a packaging apparatus for covering the box body on a group of articles to be packaged carried through a carrying means from the upper side and packaging them. An upstream side case holder 26 and a downstream side case holder 46 moving in the carrying direction and supporting the articles to be packaged from the lower side, a first flap tacker 30 turning in the downstream side flap of the box body and a second flap tacker 35 turning in the upstream side flap, both provided between both case holders 26 and 46 and moving in the carrying direction, and a flap lifter 40 connected with the second flap tacker 35 and moving upward and supporting the upstream side flap of the box body under a folded condition, are provided.
