Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly and efficiently polish a polished surface by realizing a feature of both a flap wheel and a polishing roll.
SOLUTION: In a flap wheel, a plurality of sheets of non-woven fabric sheets 1 cut in square shape are layered in a circumferential direction of a core material surface to fix an inner side thereto in a surface of a core material 2 formed with an external peripheral surface in a column, and an external peripheral surface of the layered non-woven fabric sheet 1 serves as a columnar polishing surface 3. In the flap wheel, a plurality of sheets of the non-woven fabric sheets 1 layered in a circumferential direction are bonded by a prescribed number of sheets, to be formed as a nonwoven fabric block 4. This non-woven fabric block 4 is fixed to the core material surface without bonding a layered surface to an adjacent non-woven fabric block 4. The non-woven fabric block 4 of at least four blocks is fixed to the surface of the core material 2.
