Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance the bending resistance so as to improve the working efficiency of incorporation into a tire.
CONSTITUTION: There are provided a base part 9 interposed between a tube 3 and a rim and extended from one bead part 5 to the other bead part 5, and a wing part 10 extended taperingly between the tube 3 and the bead part 5 continuously from either end of the base part 9. The outer surface 9S of the base part 9 is provided with a recessed groove 12 extended continuously in the circumferential direction on the equator face CO. The thickness TA of the base part 9 on the equator face CO is to be 0.3-0.8 times the thickness TB of the base part 9 in the 1/4 width position P1 spaced from the equator face CO by the 1/4 distance (w) of the width W of the base part 9.
