Title:
FLAPPER OF ACCELEROMETER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6412274
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve thermal stability of accelerometer by producing a pedestal which is made of a material with the same thermal coefficient of expansion as that of a flapper and by making the connection part between a bobbin and pedestal to be in cylindrical face.

CONSTITUTION: An accelerometer 10 has a magnet 12 and consists of a pair of magnet assembly bodies 14 and 16 and a disk 18 which is fixed between them. The disk 8 constitutes a flapper 26 which is allowed to move by a periphery supporting part 20, a circular groove 22, and a hinge part 22. And a bobbin 28 is fixed at the center of both faces of a flapper 26 and a torque coil 30 is wound around it. The disk 18 is made of metal and the bobbin 28 is made of aluminum. Since materials with slightly different thermal coefficient of expansion are connected each other for the flapper 26, a measurement error results from thermal stress. Thus, the bobbin 28 is constituted at a hollow cylinder without any bottom part and is fixed to the surface of the flapper 26 using a circular pedestal which can be built into the inner wall at the bottom part.
