PURPOSE: To assuredly attach a flash tube to the housing of a flash device, by making use the partial elastic force of an insulated band with which the electrical connection is secured between the back metal and the flash tube.

CONSTITUTION: A flash tube 6 is positioned to a reflector by pressing the tube 6 between projected parts 7b provided to a back metal 7. At the same time, an electrical contact is secured between the metal 7 and a trigger transparent electrode part. The edge part 7c of the metal 7 is formed into a cylinder to ensure the connection with pressure with insertion of a trigger lead wire 12 into the part 7c. Thus an electrical connection is obtained between the wire 12 and the metal 7. The electrical contact is avoided between the metal 7 and a rail 1 by an insulated film 8 which is adhered close to the rear side of the metal 7. The two projected parts 9a are provided at the side face of a rubber bush 9 for insulation to receive the edge part of the tube 6. Thus the tube 6 is held by these parts 9a.
