Title:
FLASH EMITTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS604931
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To perform assuredly proper exposure photography in program mode by stopping light emission with a light emission stop signal based upon the quantity of reflected light from a subject when the exposure control of a camera is set to the program mode.

CONSTITUTION: When the program mode (P mode) is set, a P-mode signal is inputted from an exposure control mode signal output part 7 to a selector 10 to stop a signal from a selector 6, and when the photometry, value of reflected light from a subject attains to a value corresponding to proper exposure, the light emission of a light emission part is stopped with the 1st light emission stop signal from a control circuit 2 for the quantity of light emission. When a mode other than the P mode is set and a flash device EL is set in automatic mode, the selector 6 outputs the 1st light emission stop signal, which stops the light emission of the light emission part 1. When the automatic mode is set, the selector 6 outputs the 2nd light emission stop signal from a light emission stop signal output circuit 4 and the light emission of the light emission part 1 stops when the quantity of light emission attains to a value set by a setting part 3 for the quantity of light emission.
