Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flash steam generating device capable of avoiding influence on upstream side steam utilizing equipment, which is exerted by a pressure rise in a collection line.SOLUTION: A flash steam generating device 1 comprises a flash tank 2, a collection line 3, a supply line 4, and a discharge line 5. The collection line 3 is provided with a strainer 31. In the collection line 3, on the upstream side of the strainer 31, a bypass line 6 is provided for bypassing the flash tank 2 and connecting the collection line 3 to the discharge line 5. The bypass line 6 is provided with a bypass valve 61 for opening and closing the bypass line 6. On the upstream side of the strainer 31, pressure detection means 32 is provided for detecting pressure of the collection line 3 on the upstream side of the strainer 31. Control means is adapted to open the bypass valve 61 when the pressure detection means 32 detects a predetermined pressure or more.
