Abstract:

To provide a flash tank which prevents the corrosion by a corrosive fluid and is capable of attempting the enhancement of durable performance, to provide a depressurizing device equipped with the flash tank and to provide a polyisocyanate manufacturing apparatus equipped with the depressurizing device.

The polyisocyanate manufacturing apparatus is provided with a reaction tank 2 to cause the reaction of carbonyl chloride and polyamine under high pressure and a depressurizing device 3 to depressurize the reaction liquid, which flows out of the reaction tank 2, with high pressure. The flash tank 5 of the depressurizing device 3 is formed from a pressure resistant tank 9 through which the reaction liquid flows in and an inflow tube 10 for allowing the reaction liquid to flow in along the inner surface of the pressure resistant tank 9 so as to generate the swirling flow of the reaction flow in the pressure resistant tank 9. An anticorrosive plate 13 is installed circumferentially in a strip shape over the inner surface 14 of the pressure resistant tank 9 while putting the inflow tube 10 between the up-and down direction so that it meets the swirling flow of the reaction liquid.
