Abstract:
PURPOSE:To ensure the satisfactory performance with just a switch of small current capacitance, by setting a constant open switch which applies the voltage instantaneously to start the oscillation at the base of an oscillating transistor along with a switch which cuts off the transistor to discontinue the oscillation. CONSTITUTION:The voltage is supplied from a power supply E via a primary coil LP of an oscillating transformer Tf of an oscillating transistor TRQ1 of a DC/DC converter CNV. When an oscillation starting switch SWON is turned on temporarily, a forward current flows to the base of the TRQ1 via a esistance R1. Thus the oscillation starts. The voltage induced at a feedback coil Lf reaches the emitter/base of the TRQ1 through a condenser C1 and a TRQ2. When the adverse bias is applied to the base of the TRQ2 through the above- mentioned feedback loop, both TRQ1 and TRQ2 are cut off. Thus the start/stop of the oscillation can be controlled at the flowing area of a minor current, and as a result a switch of small current capacitance is installed.
