Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain easy assembling of an elastic supporter, which protects a structure for nuclear power equipment from the earthquake, to a stable board by providing a screw to the central part of a flange, thereby forming the flange into a shape which allows the flange to be fastened by the screw. CONSTITUTION:An elastic supporter 10 is formed by fixing flanges 12 and 13 to both upper and lower ends of a part consisting of both a rubber elastic member 5 and a laminated elastic part formed by laminating a reinforcing plate 6 alternately. A male screw is formed at the center of the flange 12, while a female screw 15 is formed at the center of the flange 13. Both upper and lower flanges 12 and 13 are hexagonal so that both can be fastened by a wrench. With this contrivance, the supporter 10 can be fixed to a stable board 16 easily, thereby reducing the assembling man-hour.
