Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a ferrite core to a flat cable without damaging the flat cable and practice EMI(electromagnetic interference) countermeasure properly.
SOLUTION: A flat cable 1 is inserted through a ferrite core 42 and the ferrite core 42 including the flat cable 1 are covered with a heat-shrinkable tube 20 and, further, the heat shrinkable tube is fixed by a fixing band 3 and a fixing device 2. A warped surface is provided on the fixing device 2 and both the ends of the fixing band 2 are fixed while the heat shrinkable tube 20 is pressed against the warped surface. With this constitution, as the flat cable 1 is fixed in a state that it is pressed against the warped surface, the heat shrinkable tube 20 is not shifted in the longitudinal direction of the flat cable 1. Therefore, core 42 can be fixed to a position suitable for EMI countermeasures. Further, not only the core but also a label, etc., can be fixed to the flat cable surface.
