Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat cable in which a connection member is firmly fixed.SOLUTION: A flat cable 1 includes: a plurality of rectangular conductors 2 arranged planarly; insulation films 3a, 3b stuck to the rectangular conductors 2 from both surfaces of an arrangement surface thereof; and a connection member 21 stuck to at least one end 11 of the rectangular conductor 2 in the longitudinal direction. The rectangular conductor 2 is exposed from the insulation films 3a, 3b at the end of the rectangular conductor 2 where the connection member 21 is provided. The connection member 21 has a substrate 22 and a plurality of connection conductors 23 arranged in parallel on one surface of the substrate 22 and being in electrical communication with the respective rectangular conductors 2 exposed from the insulation films 3a, 3b, and the connection conductor 23 is fixed to the rectangular conductor 2 by a solder 15.
