Abstract:
To provide a polyparaxylene benzobisoxazole(PBO) fiber having excellent processing suitability, a nonwoven fabric comprising the PBO fiber and a method for manufacturing the PBO fiber.
A flat PBO fiber characterized in that the fiber has a degree of flatness of 2, which degree is defined by the long axis/the short axis on a fiber cross-section, and the short axes are ≤7 μm.
