Abstract:

To provide a flat panel display device which can be utilized for constructing a large type display device by combining units.

The flat panel display device is provided with a radiation area comprising a plurality of 1st electrodes, arranged on a substrate and extended in parallel with each other, a plurality of second electrodes which are arranged on the 1st electrodes and each of which is extended almost orthogonal to the 1st electrodes, and a plurality of radiation elements which are respectively connected with a plurality of the crossing parts of the 1st and 2nd electrodes and arranged on the substrate and emit electrons or light, and a peripheral area surrounding the radiation area on the substrate; and 1st and 2nd external trunk terminal groups of the 1st and 2nd electrodes are collectively arranged side by side in a part of the peripheral area.
