Abstract:
To provide a flat plate excellent in light transmissivity, low water absorptivity, mechanical strength, and thin and scarce in color change, and a precise light guide plate having the same properties.
This flat plate consists of a cyclic olefin polymer having weight average molecular weight of 5,000 to 50,000 which comprises 30 wt.% or more of a repeating unit having an alicyclic structure (A) and 30 wt.% or more of which repeating unit is free from nonbornane.
