Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the flat plate having excellent smoothness and low birefringence, freed from marks such as die lines and having excellent optical properties.
CONSTITUTION: The flat plate is made of a thermoplastic norbornene resin, the edge of which coincides with the resin supply part, and which is an injection or an injection/compression molding of a thermoplastic resin having a norbornene skeleton and having an intrinsic viscosity (ηinh) of 0.35-0.55dl/g (in chloroform at 30°C).
