Abstract:
To provide a plain tile which can make water hardly leak even if blown-up rain and wind intrude from a clearance between both lateral faces of a crosspiece mount and a straddling part of an upper-stage tile, and can be adapted to a mild gradient.SOLUTION: A plain tile 1 comprises: a tile main body 2; a stepped overlap 3; an underlap 4; an underlap vicinity protrusive pier 5; a buttock raising part 6; and a head aspect 7. A straddling part 9 for straddling the stepped overlap 3 adjacent to a lower-stage tile at the installation of tiles, and an underlap vicinity protrusive pier 5 (crosspiece mount 8) is recessively formed at a center part of the head aspect 7 in a width direction. A lateral spurnwater 38 extending to a vertical direction is arranged at a point being a buttock side rather than the straddling part of an upper-stage tile at the installation of the tiles out of lateral faces of the crosspiece mount 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
