PURPOSE: To make great reduction in working hours and at the same time make great improvement of sealing ability by means of smoothing out wrinkles, by providing corrugations to the peripheral parts of a positive electrode terminal plate used also as an outer packaging and a negative electrode terminal plate.
CONSTITUTION: A metallic terminal plate 1 used also as a negative electrode terminal is 20∼100μ in thickness and made of metal such as nickel, stainless steel and so on. The peripheral part of the negative electrode terminal plate 1 is provided with corrugation beforehand and a metallic net 2 is welded with its inner face. A positive electrode terminal plate 7 used also as a positive electrode terminal is 20∼100μ in thickness and made of metal such as nickel, stainless steel, aluminum and so on. The peripheral part of the positive electrode terminal plate 7 is provided with corrugation beforehand. Each of the electric power generating elements such as positive electrode black mix 5, a separator 4 and electrolytic liquid is successively laminated on the positive electrode terminal plate 7 and finally the negative electrode terminal plate 1 with negative electrode lithium 3 fixed by pressing on beforehand is put thereon to cover them. Then, a pair of the positive and negative electrode terminal plate is heat-sealed at their peripheral parts and thus the cell is hermetically sealed in perfectness.
