This flavor comprises a recovered flavor and is used in a process for producing coffee or a tea drink under an aseptic condition. The recovered flavor is a flavor ingredient recovered when a juice, coffee, tea extract, or the like, is concentrated. The flavor may be a mixture of the recovered flavor with one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of methional, methylmercaptan, furfurylmercaptan, 3-mercapto-3-methylbutyl formate, 2-isobutyl-3-methoxypyrazine, furaneol, sotolon, 2,3-butanedione, 2,3- pentanedione, damascenone, guaiacol, 4-vinylguaiacol, vanillin, (Z)-1,5-octadien-3- one, 4-methoxy-2-methyl-2-butanethiol, 4-mercapto-4-methyl-2-pentanone.
