Abstract:
To provide a tick octopamine receptor nucleic acid molecule; a tick octopamine receptor protein encoded by such nucleic acid molecule; an antibody raised against such protein; and a compound inhibiting the activity of such protein.
The problems are solved by providing the above nucleic acid molecule, etc. A method for producing such protein, nucleic acid molecule, antibody and inhibition compound are also included. Further included are an inhibition compound, especially a compound specifically inhibiting tick octopamine receptor activity and the use of such compound for the treatment of animals.
