Title:
FLEXIBILITY METER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6444809
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make easy and accurate the measurement of the degrees of anteflexion, retroflexion and the like from any position of the body, by providing a first rotary body having a scale on the circumference of rotation and having a deviation of mass formed in a part, a second rotary body being rotatable concentrically, having a deviation of mass formed in a part and having a pointer pointing to the division of the scale of the first rotary body, etc. CONSTITUTION:The title meter is positioned in a vertical plane with both stoppers 30 and 40 pulled out, reference legs are put on an object of measurement, and then spontaneous stoppage of a pointer 24 and a scale plate 11 is waited for. On the occasion the weights of the pointer 24 and the scale plate 11 lower directly below due to gravity, and therefore the pointer 24 points to 0 of the scale. In a state brought forth when these elements stop, the stopper 30 is pushed in to fix the scale plate 11 in its position. When the object, subsequently inclines, the scale plate 11 inclines likewise since it is fixed, while the pointer 24 remains free and pointing directly above vertically irrelevant to these inclinations. When the stopper 40 is pushed in one the occasion, the division of the scale indicated by the pointer at this time represents the degree of inclination of the object, and the division can be read by detaching the scale from the object.
