Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a therapeutic medicine or preventing medicine for nerve diseases such as Parkinson's disease, containing a specific isoxazole derivative as an active ingredient, having excellent monoamine oxidase inhibiting action and weak toxicity.
SOLUTION: This isoxazole derivative is represented by formula I [R1 is H, a halogen, an alkyl, an alkoxy, OH, an alkylthio, amino, etc.; R2a is amino, a (di)alkylamino or a 5-6 membered heterocyclic ring; (m) is 1-3; (n) is 1-6; ring A is phenyl ring, naphthyl ring or heterocyclic ring cyclicly condensed with isoxazole; X is O or S] or its pharmacologically permissible salt. Especially 3-(2-aminoethoxy)benzoisoxazole, 3-(2-aminoethoxy)pyrido[3,2-d]isoxazole is preferably used as the compound of formula I. The compound of formula I is obtained by passing through 5 steps from a compound of formula II (R3 is an ester residue).
