Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive mechanism of a flexible body formed of an elastic body or the like, by a flexible and light-weight mechanism.SOLUTION: A drive mechanism for bending specific regions SAs, SAe of a flexible body 100 formed of an elastic body or the like comprises at least, as constitution elements: a controller comprising a power unit PU; a tube 300 which is formed of a flexible material; and a thread-like member 200. The tube 300 is disposed in the flexible body 100, and the thread-like member 200 is guided to the specific regions SAs, SAe by inserting the thread-like member into a cavity in the tube 300. The thread-like member 200 passes inside of the tube 300 from the power unit PU and is slidable along the specific regions SAs, SAe, one end side of the thread-like member is connected to the power unit PU, and the other end side is connected to terminal sides of the specific regions SAs, SAe. When the power unit PU tows the thread-like member 200, the specific regions SAs, SAe can be bent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
