Abstract:
To solve such a problem that, in conventional methods for detecting disconnection of a flexible cable, a shape of a disconnection detection wire is not different from those of other wires, so that the disconnection detection wire cannot be always disconnected earlier than the other wires, and therefor a method for increasing detection accuracy furthermore is desired.
In a flexible cable, a cross-sectional shape of a conducting wire used for a disconnection detection wire is formed such that a larger stress is applied thereon as compared with cross-sectional shapes of other conducting wires, the stress being caused in bending the flexible cable.
