Title:
FLEXIBLE COATING MATERIAL HAVING SMALL SURFACE ADHESIVENESS AND SURFACE TENSION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1171549
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject coating material capable of giving a flexible coated film having small surface adhesion and surface tension after drying and film-forming by using a water dispersion of an acrylic polymer. SOLUTION: This flexible coating material having small surface adhesion and surface tension comprises a hydrophobic polymer containing a specific (meth)acryl monomer or monomers and having >=1000% elongation at break, surface adhesiveness of <=95 J/m<2> , >=90 deg. contact angle with a waterdrop and preferably about -40 deg.C glass transition temperature as a base. The polymer comprises 60-99.5 wt.% of (A) a unit derived from a monomer or monomers selected from (meth)acrylic ester, (meth)acrylic acid, acrylamide and its derivatives, vinyls, styrene and its derivative and 0.5-40 wt.% of (B) a (meth) acryl monomer or monomers selected from polyfluoromonomer of formula I (R1 is H or a 1-4C alkyl; R2 is a 1-16C perfluoroalkyl; X is a divalent chain bonded to O through C) and formula II (h3 is an 8-30C alkyl).
