Title:
FLEXIBLE DIVERGING DEVICE FOR SUPERCONDUCTIVE MAGNETIC LEVITATION TYPE RAILWAY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2595405
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a lightweight movable diverging device for a superconductive magnetic levitation type railway, which requires a less number of drive devices, and which can diverge a rail in a short time with less magnetic resistance, by using the flexibility of a steel members in a U-shape guideway.
CONSTITUTION: A movable structure beam 1 made of antiferomagnetic steel and having its section stiffness which gradually decreases from its fixed part to its one end, is integrally incorporated in the center part of an U-shape guideway. Then, cross beams 2 to 5 made of antiferomagnetic steel are integrally incorporated with the main beam 1, and runway concrete panels 6, 6 are laid and supported between the cross beams 2 to 5 in such a way that they does not have a crosswise stiffness. Further, short span concrete panels 7 constituting the side walls of the guideway are connected to the vertical parts of the cross beams 2 to 5 by means of hinge joints, and ground side coils are laid therealong. Further, the front end part of the main beam 1 is driven by a drive device so as to allow it to depict a curve having a radius of curvature which is not less than a minimum value that is determined in accordance with a comfortable acceleration level.
