To provide a fiber-made wadding material that gives good flexible properties with no mutual split of monofilaments and no occurrence of layer collapse during the use.
In this wadding material 1, monofilaments are arranged almost three-dimensionally in the thickness direction, the fiber layers are partially bonded in a fiber density of 0.03-0.1 g/cc and a thickness of 5-1,000 mm and has a sliced face 2 formed by slicing the fibers in layers in the thickness direction. In this case, the monofilament planar array layers 3 in which the surface monofilaments on at least one sliced face are arranged in almost the plane direction are continuously or intermittently repeated plural times in a width of 5-100 mm in almost parallel with the flexed line.
