A jig 13 is mounted so as to cover terminal parts 3, 4 of the flexible flat cable 1. One end 131 of the jig 13 is fixed in the vicinity of the terminal part of the cable body, and the other end is applied as a grip 132. The contact point part 11 can be connected to the contact point part 63 of the connector 6 by inserting this grip 132 into the connector 6 by holding the holding part. As the flexible flat cable body is not gripped nor the contact point part is touched at the insertion, the deformation of the cable and the corrosion of the contact point part can be prevented.
