To provide a flexible heat pipe having flexibility in which air-tightness in a container can be maintained even when it is comparatively frequently bent and in which fluctuation of internal pressure hardly occurs, and which has an excellent heat transport characteristic, and its manufacturing method.
The flexible heat pipe is equipped with a working fluid, a flexible flow channel body 11 provided with a steam flow channel 12 and a capillary tube flow channel 13 for the working fluid, and the container 15 for sealing the working fluid and the flow channel body 11. The container 15 comprises hollow metallic pipes 16, 17 with the one ends closed, and a laminated pipe 18 having a resin film 19 and a metallic thin film 20 formed over the resin film 19 layered alternately in at least 2 layers and which has flexibility. The laminated pipe 18 has a shape of the metallic pipes 16, 17 joined to both ends thereof.
