Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic polyisoprene cross-linked body low in toxicity and excellent in mechanical properties, and substitutable for immersion products for medicine and hygiene using the conventional vulcanized natural rubber.SOLUTION: In a polyisoprene cross-linked body obtained by solidifying and cross-linking a composition obtained by adding specified organic peroxide and cross-linking agent to a synthetic polyisoprene latex, by-product is suppressed, and cross-linking reaction is progressed by performing the cross-linking in cross-linking reaction at relatively low temperature in an atmosphere in a substantially non-oxygen state. The obtained synthetic polyisoprene cross-linked body being the material excellent in high strength and high elongation while maintaining high flexibility, and being a composition with high safety solving I type and IV type allergy, N-nitrosoamine problems generated by the conventional natural rubber products since sulfur and vulcanization accelerators are not substantially contained.SELECTED DRAWING: None
