Abstract:
To provide a polyester film exhibiting such flexibility and impact resistance that a nylon film has and a conventional polyethylene terephthalate film does not have.
This polyester film comprises a polybutylene terephthalate (modified PBT) containing 5-20 wt.% of a polytetramethylene glycol unit having a mol.wt. of 600-4,000 and a polyethylene terephthalate(PET) in a modified PBT/PET ratio by weight of 100/0 to 75/25. Desirably, the film has a tensile modulus of 2,000 MPa or less.
