Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable switch-over between the execution and the suspension of pumping actions to be made while an impeller is being rotated as well as to control idling.
CONSTITUTION: An impeller 20 includes a plural number of elastic blades 28 which are elastically deformed while being sidably rotated around the circumferential wall section 30 of an impeller chamber 14. A side wall plate 40 forms the side wall section of the impeller chamber 14, and the side wall section is freely displaced in the axial direction within the cylindrical wall section 4 of a easing 12, so that it is constituted to be switched over by a lever 52 between a close position closely adhered onto the impeller 20 and a separate position separated from the impeller 20.
