Abstract:
To provide a flexible shaft drive force transmitting device capable of eliminating the need of maintenance by sealing a casing and a drive shaft to prevent lubricating oil from leaking.
This maintenance-free flexible shaft drive force transmitting device 10 comprises a flexible drive shaft assembly 20 having a first end part 16 connectable to a drive motor 12 and a second end part 18 connectable to driven equipment 14, a hollow casing 22 concentrically enclosing the drive shaft assembly 20, lubricant disposed in the casing 22, and a lubricant seal 130 for preventing the lubricant from leaking out of the second end part 18 of the drive shaft assembly 20.
