Abstract:

To provide a flexible sheet having a protective layer for isolating an electroluminescence lamp assembly from a harmful interaction with an external environment of the flexible sheet.

This invention provides the flexible sheet having; a substrate (12) having at least one visually recognizable surface having at least one light transmission area (14); a conductive trace for connecting the assembly to a power source, wherein the electroluminescence lamp assembly placed on the surface of the substrate includes a 1st electrode (50), an electroluminescence material (52), and a 2nd electrode (56), and the material (52) includes at least a part of the light transmission area placed on the visually recognizable surface; and the protective layer for isolating the electroluminescence lamp assembly from a harmful interaction with an external environment of the flexible sheet.
