Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the fire monitoring system for detecting a fire in an early stage in a mechanical parking place, and also, knowing simply in which vehicle a fire is generated.
CONSTITUTION: The system is provided with plural parking parts 2a-2L formed in a parking peace 1, an optical fiber 20 provided by passing through each of parking parts 2a-2L, a light source part for allowing a pulsative laser light to be made incident from an inlet end 20a of the optical fiber 20, a photodetecting part for detecting a backscattering light from the inside of the optical fiber 20, and a position detecting part for specifying the parking part in which a fire is generated, based on a signal of the photodetecting part.
