Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flight director display device capable of concentratively displaying plural maneuvering commands and reducing the work load of a pilot.
SOLUTION: The flight director FD is composed of a line LA oscillated in the horizontal direction, a line LB oscillated in the direction vertical to the line LA, a line LC shorter than the line LA and passing through an upper edge of the line LB in parallel with the line LA, a line LD connecting a left end of the line LA and a left end of the line LC, and a line LE connecting a right end of the line LA and a right end of the line LC, the line LB is displayed by a broken line connecting a middle point of the line LA and a middle point of the line LC to simulate a center line of a runway, the line LD and the line LE are displayed by a wide and thick solid line to simulate a side line of the runway, and the line LA and the line LC are displayed by a solid line to simulate a front line and an end line of the runway.
