Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable operation in an arbitrary layer of an octo-tree topography by utilizing the hierarchical property of an octo-tree topography model by generating a topography model by using digitized topography altitude data, accessing the topography model and retrieving the same to generate a topography map.
SOLUTION: A topography model is generated by using digitized topography altitude data. Subsequently, navigation space is obtained by utilizing the generated topography model, and the topography model is accessed and retrieved to generate a topography map. Subsequently, the start point and the end point of the navigation space are given to obtain a ground track of a through flight route in the topography map. According to the ground track and flight altitude, a dangerous zone is discriminated, and a set of midway passing points for avoidance is assigned by the dangerous zone. A visibility graph of a navigation space in which a set of route segments without a collision is prepared, and the start point is linked by flight route search algorithm to obtain a topography profile of the flight route from the topography map.
