To provide a rod for flipping pages by operation of one hand without directly touching a book by hands.

In the flipping rod, a non-slip object is attached to one end of a rod of a length of 20-40 centimeters. An opened paper face is held down beforehand by a thin wire with a reasonable slackness. A tip having the non-slip object is pressed against the paper face, the page is pushed in an opening direction until a gap is formed in a directly below page, another end of the rod is deeply inserted into the gap when a gap is formed, and it is drawn in the direction opening the page to flip the page.
