To provide a float for fishing designed to minimize the occurrence of resistance during biting of a fish, improve the biting of the fish and facilitate the confirmation of a strike or pull of the fish.

The float for fishing is obtained by installing a projecting shaft 17 on the top surface of a float body 12 with usually the top surface directed upward by a sinker 13 arranged in the lower part, installing a connection ring 14 for a main line at the top of the projecting shaft 17 and providing the top surface and undersurface of the float body 12 with different colors 15 and 16.
