Abstract:
To provide a float for a solar battery panel with easy manufacturing, high stability on water, as well as capable of reducing fear of an upset or sinking.SOLUTION: A float 4 for supporting a solar battery panel 2 on water includes: a float body 11 partitioning a hollow unit 11a inside; and an outer flange unit 12 formed integrally with the float body 11 and projected outside from an outer periphery unit of the float body 11. The float body 11 includes: a plurality of floating units (13) arranged separated from each other in a plan view and respectively forming floating chambers 13a forming a part of the hollow unit 11a inside; and at least one coupling unit 14 coupling a pair of floating units adjacent to each other and forming a communication chamber 14a for communicating relative floating chambers 13a. A bottom unit 14b of the coupling unit 14 is connected to a side unit 13s of a pair of relative floating units. Water invading the floating chamber 13a is suppressed from invading other floating chambers 13a through the communication chamber 14a even when one of the floating units is damaged and immersed in water.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
